Origin: Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan

Description:  A medium-bodied Sencha that tends lightly vegetative with hints of cut grass. Known to be high in polyphenols.  This tea is named "Akaike" from, Hirotugu Akaike, who was a famous Japanese statistician.

Ingredients:  organic green tea (low caffeine, high antioxidant)

Brewing Instructions:
Use 1 teaspoon of tea leaves per 8 oz of water. Steep in just boiled water, around 175°F, for 3-5 minutes. Green tea needs a lower temperature than black teas. If you had a cup of green tea that was too bitter, chances are you used water that was too hot or steeped too long.
