Botanical Name: Rosa centifolia
Fragrant dark red rose petals, very few rose buds (not tightly closed). Rose petals are one of the few items that maintain their natural scent upon drying. Dried rose buds and petals, which are a good source of vitamin C, are a colorful addition to tea blends and potpourri mixtures. (no caffeine, low antioxidant)
Use 1 teaspoon of tea leaves per 8 oz of water. Steep in just boiled water that is around 200°F-212°F, for 3-5 minutes or longer, depending on taste.
