Botanical Name: Lavandula x intermedia
Description: Ultra blue lavender, also known as lavadin, is a hybrid species between English lavender (L. angustifolia) and Portuguese lavender (L. latifolia). This lavender is recommended for steeping and other culinary uses, jar potpourris, pillow sachets, soaps and bath herbs. The intense color of the flower buds is most desirable when visual presentation counts! (no caffeine, low antioxidant)
Brewing Instructions:
Use 1 teaspoon of tea leaves per 8 oz of water. Steep in just boiled water that is around 200°F-212°F, for 3-5 minutes or longer, depending on taste.
