Blue Tea
Origin: Thailand
Botanical Name: Clitoria ternatea
Description: Also know as butterfly pea flower. This "chameleon" flower steeps a deep blue but when lemon or anything acidic is added, the color changes to purple. Other key factors: high in antioxidants, anti-inflammatory, and helps fight fatigue. An anti-aging tea because if fights glycation and keeps your skin looking youthful. (no caffeine, high antioxidant)
Brewing Instructions:
Use 1 teaspoon of tea leaves per 8 oz of water. Steep in just boiled water that is around 200°F-212°F, for 3-5 minutes or longer, depending on taste.
